Fat negative physical self refers to the negative cognition,negative emotion and corresponding regulation of behaviors.Nowadays,it is very common to regard slender figures as beauty,so more and more people choose to lose weight.As a result,there are existing a lot of problems related to fat negative physical self among many people.Teenagers are in the period of rapid development of self-consciousness.During this period,they are very concerned about others' evaluation of themselves,and they are much aware of themselves,so it is especially common and prominent for teenagers to have a negative attitude towards body image.In recent years,the domestic research in the field of physical self is gradually increasing,however,the negative physical self(such as appearance,weight and short)is in a slight lack of the specific direction.So,this study aims to do a research on female fat negative physical self in middle school and design an intervention.In the first study,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 358 female students in a middle school in Jinzhou,Liaoning province.And then questionnaires are analyzed with independent-samples T test and single factor analysis.We can get a general understanding of the status of Junior female fat negative physical self.The results show that:(1)Most of the girls were optimistic about their body image on fat dimension,and they were more satisfied with their body on fat dimensions.(2)The differences of fat negative physical self on the three dimensions of junior high school girls shows that: as to the fat negative physical self in both the mean average score and each dimension,there are differences in the grade variables score,but there is no significant difference;there is no significant differences on whether the student is only child or not;there are significant differences in terms of where the students come from;there is no significant difference on educational level of their parents and family income.In the second study,according to the result of the first study,we can select 30 girls as subjects of the intervention programs,then divide them into two groups.One is experimental group and the other is control group.Use fat negative physical self-scale to make a pre-post test.And then questionnaires are analyzed with independent-samples T test and pared-samples T test,the results show that:(1)"Love yourself,love health" group intervention effectively reduced the degree of dissatisfaction of junior high school girls in the negative body self-fat dimension.(2)The intervention program is a practical and feasible scheme to promote the intervention study on the fat negative ego of junior high school girls.In conclusion,the intervention program is practical,which is based on cognition,emotion,and corresponding regulation of behaviors.
