A Report On The Simulated E-C Simultaneous Interpreting

With the fast development of science and technology at the start of this century,changes and advances emerge in technological fields almost every day.At the same time,the fast growing technological industry puts forward new requirements to people working in relevant industries including translators and interpreters.The top-level tech company Apple Inc.is regarded as an indicator of high tech industry.Its event is praised as the ?big event? in the technology circle.The report consists of five chapters.Chapter one is a general introduction of the interpreting task including the definition of Simultaneous Interpreting,Apple Inc.,products,etc.Chapter two is the description about the preparing process of the simulation like background information,strength and theories learning.The third part is Chapter three containing the introduction of the interpreting part.In the fourth chapter,there is case analyses based on the Interpretive Theory of Translation(ITT).The Interpretive Translation Theory is a translation theory that originates from the interpreting practice.It works well in the interpreter's SI task.Case analyses also mirror the deficiency in the SI task.Chapter five is about the feedback of this simulated interpreting work.The last chapter concludes the whole simulation activity and shares strategies and tactics to other interpreters and new learners.
