In recent years,The cultivation of college students' artistic quality has received extensive attention fiom educators.Music appreciation education is a key part of artistic quality education,and the attitude of Chinese science students towards music appreciation classes is especially important.Chinese traditional ancient music is the essence of our traditional culture.It is an important part of the music appreciation class.The music appreciation class is also one of the main ways for college students to understand traditional Chinese ancient music.Whether the undergraduate science group has contacted traditional ancient music through music appreciation classes and whether they understand Chinese traditional ancient music in life?The author believes that in the music appreciation class in colleges and universities,the study of Chinese traditional ancient music should exist with a standard.The author takes traditional Chinese ancient music as the starting point,combines the current status of the curriculum of music appreciation courses for science students,and students' daily music.Contact status investigation.This paper examines the status quo of appreciation of Chinese traditional ancient music in the music appreciation course for science students at three universities of CCNU,WUT and HUST.It uses a questionnaire survey to produce music through science-based college students' appreciation of music in China.Traditional questionnaires for the appreciation of ancient songs,measuring statistics,summing up sample data,and presenting the status quo based on the results,comparing the selection of science students in three universities,and analyzing the two dimensions of curriculum status and student personal factors to test their internal differences.,Summarize the influencing factors,and use theories to analyze the factors affecting the status quo of appreciation of Chinese traditional ancient music in science music appreciation courses for undergraduates.Judging from the results of the sample statistics,science students' views on the degree of importance of music appreciation courses are generally important.This means that music appreciation courses are not as important as other general education courses in the consciousness of science students.This status quo deserves the attention of educators.Most of the science students' understanding of Chinese traditions has been heard,but they do not understand.Only a few people are familiar with it.According to statistics,most of the science students believe that traditional Chinese ancient music is necessary for popularization.This shows that although traditional Chinese ancient music is Not known to science students,but in their consciousness,they still think that traditional music should be popularized and developed.There are slight differences in the statistical results between liberal arts colleges and the two science and engineering colleges.The science students at Huazhong Normal University have the choice of the importance of university music appreciation courses,and there is no need to popularize the traditional Chinese ancient music.The overall awareness is slightly stronger than that of the other two universities.The author finds that the causes of these differences are related to whether the individual student has conducted professional studies,the frequency of students' daily listening to music,etc.Specific data will be presented in the text.Music educators pay more and more attention to the development of traditional music.The environment of higher education also supports the development of traditional music on the campus more than ever,and the teaching mode is also becoming more and more modern.These are favorable factors.The investigation of the status quo of appreciation of Chinese traditional ancient music in the music appreciation course for science students has also given us many questions.The current status of selection of randomly selected science students is different.The current status of their courses and the choice of students' own factors can provide us with a new way of thinking about how traditional ancient music can be better developed in science students.Inheriting traditional music requires a rational environment and a scientific approach.It also requires our joint efforts.
