| The translation practice is based on two brochures separately titled as MV and HV XLPE Power Cables and High-voltage 3-phase Introduction Motors from the BICC General Baosheng Cable CO.,Ltd and Shanghai Electric Machinery Co.,Ltd.The report is a reflection on and summary of the author‘s translation practice.Firstly in the report,every stage of translation process is reviewed,and then a detailed analysis of textual features as well as difficulties encountered in the translation is made in the way of case study,such as translation of technical terms,abbreviations,and complicated sentences.Finally,measures taken and solutions made to deal with the difficulties are summarized and reflected on in order to provide some reference for the translation of similar texts. |
