A Practice Report On Technical Texts Translation

In the context of Internet Plus,Huawei has set foot into more fields,so that technical texts have gradually become one of the most significant methods for spreading the products,services,and solutions of Huawei.Therefore,Huawei technical texts aim at improving user experience and attracting more customers,playing an important role.This report,based on C-E translation of Huawei technical texts during my internship,refers to Skopostheorie to address the problems I encountered in my translation practice.This report analyzes the definition and characteristics of Huawei technical texts.Under the guidance of Skopostheorie,translation problems are identified and analyzed,and feasible translation strategies and techniques are proposed at lexical,syntactic,and textual levels.It is hoped that this report can serve as a preliminary study so as to provide some reference for relevant translators.
