With the beginning and ending of one after another Olympic Games, international sports events have gradually attracted the attention of the government, citizens, and the media, and have become a platform for host cities and countries to tell their stories to the world.Citizens as the main body of sports events,as the main body of the host city, the formation of its ideology is the core competitiveness of the city, and it is also the most important strategic response to the regional rejuvenation in Europe and the United States.Taking the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games as an example, using a new perspective to explore the changes in cultural values brought about by the intangible heritage left behind by the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games will be a significant issue for cities that will host a sports event. This shift in cultural values is based on the civic pride created by hosting sports events. The term " civic pride " is relatively unfamiliar.More common in the textbooks and related literature of political subjects in primary and secondary schools and universities. However,in the research on urban brand building,in discussing the content of urban spirit, sporadic mention of the spirit of citizenship, cultural soft power enhances pride. The cultural heritage and the pride brought about by the grand event are also discussed.Visualization of civic pride, means that in the context of the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, the citizens of Guangzhou reflected the satisfaction, recognition and pride of the city through a number of things and actions. Then,by looking for the constituent factors of civic pride,we have designed ways to cultivate this feeling.Using case studies and questionnaire surveys, conducted data research and analysis on citizen awareness, citizen volunteer behavior, and citizens' participation in sports activities before and after the Asian Games. The data shows that during the post-Asian Games,Guangzhou citizens' awareness of Guangzhou, the behavior of citizen volunteers, and the participation of citizens in sports activities have increased significantly before the Games. The change in the cultural value of the Asian Games heritage is of great significance to the construction of the city's urban spirit.Separately visualize the survey data before and after the Asian Games on the intangible heritage of the Asian Games heritage: the mental outlook of the masses, the awareness of volunteer service, and the awareness of mass sports. The results show that through the hosting of the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games,Guangzhou has cultivated a citizen's civic pride. There are three main aspects of this emotional change: 1)the understanding, cognition and identity of urban culture;2)the improvement of the citizen's living infrastructure;and 3)the improvement of the citizens' quality-the improvement of the spiritual outlook-make the city have an affinity. These three aspects are the constituent factors of civic pride.Corresponds to the constituent factors and designs methods to cultivate civic pride. To sum up,the visual research of civic pride is a study of the value transformation of the Asian Games spiritual heritage, which has important application value and significance for the construction of urban spiritual culture in Guangzhou.Effectively use international sports events to stimulate, nurture, and demonstrate civic pride in Guangzhou, promote the construction of its urban brand, increase the awareness of urban brands, and shape the study of the “urban spirit of Guangzhou” with cross-disciplinary research characteristics. The urban spirit of shaping Guangzhou's urban soft power,“I come from Guangzhou” and “I'm proud of Guangzhou” has important social significance for the study of “people-centered” urban brand activities, and can also be used for other cities, especially provide a reference for cities that will host an international sports event.
