With the development and progress of society,English is more widely used and used,it is still a foreign language for students,teachers need to adopt appropriate teaching methods to make students interested in English learning,as to achieve a satisfactory result.In teaching,the author found that English children's songs can arouse students' interest in learning.English children's songs are audio-visual teaching aids.Compared with others forms of physical education,they are more in line with children's psychological characteristics and are more suitable for creating a cheerful classroom atmosphere.The lively and cheerful tunes of English children's songs can just bring the relationship between teachers and students closer,stimulate students' interest in learning,and bring the relationship between students and knowledge closer.However,teachers have many problems and concerns in practical applications.The full text is divided into six chapters.The first chapter introduces the research background,research significance,research purpose,research status and research methods and ideas of the thesis,and gives a general overview of the thesis.The second chapter discusses the theoretical basis and definition of the core concepts.he second chapter discusses the theoretical basis and definition of the core concepts.It proposes the theoretical basis of the use of children's songs from the perspectives of education,educational psychology and second language learning,including constructivist learning theory,multiple intelligence theory and second language learning.The theory of "emotional filtering hypothesis" was obtained;at the same time,the two core concepts of English children's songs and English classroom teaching were defined according to relevant research.The third chapter interviews the teachers around the core issues,based on the interview results,combined with the conclusions of the existing research,summarizes the use value of children's songs in primary school English teaching,in order to highlight the necessity of using children's songs.The fourth chapter analyzes the current situation of the use of children's songs in primary school English teaching by means of classroom observation and case analysis.Combine interviews,observations and case studies to analyze existing problems and their causes,so as to propose more suggestions for optimizing the use of children's songs.The fifth chapter combines the status quo and the reasons to propose countermeasures and suggestions for optimizing the use of children's songs in primary school English teaching.This study hopes to study the current situation of the use of children's songs in primary school English teaching,in order to help teachers use children's songs more effectively in classroom teaching,so that the use of children's songs is more valuable.
