The modal verbs Neng(?)and Hui(?)are a major difficulty in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,and also one of the key points,which is the knowledge points that international students must master.The meanings of Neng(?)and Hui(?)are complex,some of the meanings overlap,Neng(?)and Hui(?)are interchangeable,and part of the meaning is not interchangeable,which often causes confusion and difficulty in acquisition.offset.The same is true for Indonesian students.In addition,the corresponding components in Indonesian have similarities,but they are not one-to-one correspondence.To a certain extent,it has increased the difficulty for Indonesian students to learn the verbs Neng(?)and Hui(?).In view of this,on the basis of previous studies,this paper mainly examines the errors of the enthusiasm Neng(?)and Hui(?)of Indonesian students in the primary and intermediate Chinese level,trying to find out their main errors.Types and possible causes of these biases,and give corresponding teaching recommendations.This paper is divided into five part.Part one is introduction,which mainly introducing the cause of research,the target of research,the basis of theory,review of previous studies,and the innovation.Part two the teaching points of Neng(?)and Hui(?)in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language based on the research of the predecessors and the meanings of Neng(?)and Hui(?)in Chinese textbooks,sums up the meanings of the verbs of the willingness,and carries out the grammatical features of the verbs.The analysis made some predictions about possible acquisition difficulties.On the basis of this,the part three designed the questionnaire,and collected the corpus in the student's homework,and made a detailed and in-depth study on the usage of multiple meanings of the Indonesian students'learned verbs.The survey found that Indonesian students'ability and Neng(?)in the Xu Yao(??)indicate that the meaning of the term is better,while Neng(?)and Hui(?)indicate that the meaning of possible,the ability to do something and the"can"indicate that the ability is more biased.Syntactically,there will be errors in the wrong sequence of interrogative sentences,mismatches with prepositions,and errors in other possible verbs such as possible and required.The part four analyzes the possible causes of these errors,and puts forward relevant teaching suggestions from the textbook writing and teaching methods.We believe that the complexity of multiple meanings of Neng(?)and Hui(?)and the negative transfer of Indonesian language are the main reasons for students bias.In addition,the interpretation of the textbook will also cause some bias.
