A Comparative Analysis Of Chinese And Mongolian Phrases

Phrases occupy a very important position in modern Chinese,and its frequency of use is very high.They are also commonly seen in Chinese Proficiency Test.It has its own characteristics in semantics,pragmatics and structure.Specifically,it is semantically holistic and pragmatically it has a colloquial meaning etc.At the same time,Chinese Phrases are twotiered,figurative,and flexible.For Mongolian phrases,it contains all the proverbs,riddles,maxims in the Mongolian language,and sometimes idioms and also from slangs emanating from the public,history,myths and so on.The Mongolian idioms point to the lesson meaning and the cognitive meaning.Although China and Mongolia are long-standing neighbors,but then,there are few differences in their languages in terms of phrases.Therefore,this paper studies the "comparison of Chinese and Mongolian phrases" and analyzes the idioms that appear in the "HSK test."This article has four parts:The first part introduces the study of Chinese phrases and discusses them with their characteristics.In the second part,the research on Mongolian phrases and its special features are introduced.In the third part,the characteristics of Chinese and Mongolian terms are compared.In the fourth part,the phrases that has appeared in HSK test questions are analyzed from three aspects,and some corresponding Mongolian phrases were identified.
