The Relationship Between Parental Rearing Style,Self-Concept And Professional Maturity Of High School Students

In recent years,with the gradual implementation of the reform of the new college entrance examination,the career development of middle school students has been paid more and more attention by the relevant departments,and the study of career maturity of high school students can not only improve the understanding of the characteristics of student's professional psychological development,but It can also provide a strong basis for the evaluation of the effect of career counseling.In this study,782 subjects in Shaanxi Province Zhashui Middle School were selected as the research object by means of questionnaire survey.The "Parenting style","self-concept scale" and "career maturity questionnaire" were used to carry out the test.This paper examines the characteristics of parental rearing style,self-concept and professional maturity,validates the direct effect of parental rearing style on the professional maturity of high school students,and probes into the intermediary role of self-concept between parental rearing style and professional maturity.The results of the study are as follows:1.The high school students sample group has significant gender differences in father rejection,father overprotection,mother emotional warmth,self-concept and career decision-making attitude.Father's rejection of boys is significantly higher than that of girls.Father's excessive protection for boys is significantly higher than that of girls.The emotional warmth of the mother to the boys is significantly lower than that of the girls.The self-concept of the boys is significantly lower than that of the girls,and the career decision-making attitude of the boys is significantly lower than that of the girls.There is a significant difference in the overprotection of mothers in the family's place of residence.Students in urban hukou are significantly higher than those in rural hukou in the dimension of mother overprotection.2.There was a significant positive correlation between parents ' emotional warmth and professional maturity of high school students in parental rearing style,and there was a significant negative correlation between parental rejection,excessive parental protection and professional maturity of high school students in parental rearing style,and there was a significant positive correlation between parents ' emotional warmth and self-concept inparental rearing style.Parents refused,There was a significant negative correlation between parental over-protection and self-concept,and there was a significant positive correlation between self-concept and career maturity in two dimensions.3.High school students' self-concepts play a partial intermediary role between parents' emotional warmth,parental rejection,parental overprotection dimension and occupational maturity.
