The materials of the simulated interpreting practice report are selected from the text “The development of tourism market in Heilongjiang province”.According to the data,tourism market income of Heilongjiang province is increasing year by year.Tourism is one of the most important sources of the gross domestic product in the province,and the prospect of tourism industry in Heilongjiang province is bright and has a big development potential.The provincial government attaches great importance to tourism in the 13 th Five-Year Plan.In order to enhance the awareness of tourism development in Heilongjiang province among foreigners,the author conducted the simulated consecutive interpreting,and completed this consecutive practice report.In this simulated consecutive interpreting,the author encountered some problems that may result to poor interpreting quality,thus causing communication barriers.The author analyzed this interpreting practice from the preparation of professional terminology,to knowledge background and to the summary after the interpreting task.This report mainly includes task introduction?process of interpreting and the problems and their solutions.This report focuses on misinterpreting and information loss.Misinterpreting and information loss are common problems in interpreting,which have a great impact on the quality of interpreting.Therefore,the author also proposes some solutions:professional terminology learning,practice of figures interpreting,practice of long and difficult sentences and improvement of memory and notes.The author hopes that the suggestions put forward in this report can be helpful to relevant practitioners.
