A Report On Business Interview Interpretation Under The Guidance Of Translation Variation Theory

Against the backdrop of globalization,exchanges among countries are becoming increasingly frequent,and the business cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises is expanding and enjoying a bright future.Business interpretation,to some extent,directly contributes to the achievement of business cooperation,thus its importance is self-evident.Business interview interpretation features extemporaneousness,immediacy and interactivity,which makes interpretation fail to realize absolute translation.Interpreters need to adopt a flexible method to ensure the effective delivery of information.Translation Variation Theory points out that interpreters can absorb:information purposely based on specific needs of listeners in some specific situation and adopt some flexible strategies to assimilate core information.By analyzing the language materials collected from the business interview interpretation that the author personally involved,the author enumerates the mistakes,discusses some questions worth considering in the interpretation process based on Translation Variation Theory,and puts forward some useful solutions and strategies.The author hold the opinion that if interpreters can apply Translation Variation Theory well,the burden and pressure in interpretation can be relieved,the interpretation time can be shortened and the efficiency of information exchange can also be improved.
