An E-C Translation Of Brainflow AB Shareholders' Agreement From The Perspective Of Stylistics

This translation report is based on the English-Chinese translation of Brainflow AB company shareholders' agreement,commissioned by Beijing Ecyti Translation company.In order to provide the reference for similar contract translation in the future,this report introduces the translation process and mainly analyzes the stylistic features of the source text,and it also discusses the translation principles and the specific methods for translating words,sentences and text.The report consists of five parts.The first part is a brief introduction to the background of the translation project and basic knowledge of Stylistics.The second part discusses previous studies on stylistics and contract translation.The third part describes the whole translation process of the project,from preparation before translation to translation process and after-translation revision and the stylistic features of the source text at lexical,syntactical and textual levels are mainly explored in this part.Part four elaborates concrete translation methods based on the analysis of stylistic features of source text.In last part,a conclusion is made with a summary of experiences and lessons during completion of the translation project and some suggestions are put forward for further research.
