HSK is the abbreviation of “Hàny? Shu?píng K?osh́”,also translated as the Chinese Language Proficiency Test.HSK is an international standardized test of Chinese language,that aims to examine Chinese language proficiency of non-Chinese native speakers.The content of old HSK examination with eleven test levels was too difficult and could not be promoted overseas.In 2009 the National Office of Hanban designed New HSK exam.The New HSK exam has six test levels.HSK(Level 4)corresponds to Level 4 “International Chinese Language Competence Standard” and B2 Level of “Common Reference Framework for European Languages(CEF)”.Candidates,who have reached the New HSK level 4,can communicate with native speakers in Chinese without any language barrier.Therefore,the study of New HSK level 4 not only provides some theoretical basis,but also lays a solid foundation for the promotion of Chinese language.There have been more studies done on the New HSK level 4 test papers,than specifically on the New HSK level 4 vocabulary.Vocabulary,as the main building material of the language,is extremely important.It is the basis of the whole Chinese language learning process.If the foundation is not firmly built,the subsequent learning process will be scattered,so the teachers who are engaged in international Chinese language education need to focus on teaching vocabulary.As the most important things,the applicable teaching method is the guarantee of efficient teaching.The teaching method theory based on actual vocabulary teaching can make Chinese teachers improve the level of Chinese vocabulary teaching more quickly.Therefore,this paper mainly focuses on the vocabulary teaching method of the New HSK level 4 test.According to the previous research on vocabulary teaching,the actual teaching situation of the New HSK level 4 vocabulary and the mastery of foreign students,this paper makes some summaries and puts forward some suggestions of the New HSK level 4 vocabulary teaching method.The purpose of this paper is to help foreign students overcome their difficulties in the process of the New HSK level 4 vocabulary learning.At the same time,it helps Chinese language teachers teach HSK level 4 vocabulary more efficiently,so that the students can be more integrated into the teaching process,overcome the fear of difficulties and be more confident in the process of studying Chinese language.In addition to referring to the previous studies,this paper also conducts an investigation and interviews with the teachers and the foreign students in Hebei University,supplements the existing vocabulary teaching methods according to the actual teaching situation,puts forward some new suggestions for HSK level 4 vocabulary teaching,hoping to provide some reference for the New HSK level 4 vocabulary teaching method.
