A Practice Report On Chinese-English Interpreting For The Business Exchange Conference Of Baoding Jincheng Communication Company

This report is based on the consecutive interpreting practice of the business exchange conference of Jincheng Communication Company.The conference specifically involves in line inspection,account management and property of some line inspection products.During the interpreting process,the author complied with the Interpretive Theory and overcame many difficulties.This report is divided into four parts: task description,process description,case analysis and conclusion.Task description generally introduces task background and its significance.The second part mainly talks about the steps of interpreting process in chronological order,wherein preparations for interpretation are the body.It is mainly about how background information was searched,how to familiarize with the specialized knowledge and predictions about the conference content.In case analysis,the author discussed difficulties and problems she encountered,and countermeasures she used during the interpreting process.Finally the author will make a conclusion,including the importance of preparation for interpretation,exercise,guiding function of the Interpretive Theory and limitations revealed from this interpreting practice.Hopefully this report could provide some useful advice.
