Counterstereotype is inconsistent or contrary to the stereotype information situation.Related studies has found that counterstereotype intervention training can restrain the activation and application of stereotypes, and many research results on counterstereotype intervention training has been made.By comparing previous studies, the author has found that the effect of counterstereotype intervention training is better in the short term, but only lasts for several hours or days.In addition, the study has also found that the participants' age can be listed as an important element to the influence of intervention.Adults have a low plasticity in cognition, and the formed prejudices and stereotypes are not easy to be changed, while adolescents are on the contrary. Therefore,we speculated that the reasons for the short-term effective training effect and the poor long-term effect are the age of the participant, insufficient intensity and frequency of intervention training. Therefore, based on the existing research, the author has employed many adolescents with strong cognitive plasticity as participants, and uses multiple intervention training methods to verify the influence of counterstereotype intervention training on age stereotypes and the effect of intervention training. In experiment one recruited 70 teenagers aged 12-13 participants were randomly divided into experimental and control groups. All participants are supposed to complete the IAT pretest,post-test and the effect of the follow-up test after 24 hours. The experimental group needs to complete a single training task(Evaluative conditioning),and the control group completes irrelevant painting tasks. The results showed that, there was no difference between the experimental group and the control group, and the difference between the post-test results was significant, which indicates the intervention training effect was significant. However, after tracking the test results 24 hours later,it was found that although the results of the post-test were significantly different, the results of the follow-up test did not differ between the two groups, which indicates the effect of the intervention training was poor that was consistent with the result of the foreign scholars'.On the basis of first experiment, the author uses multiple training tasks(counterstereotype scenario)at the second study to compare with a single training task to test which intervention training task is better. Therefore, the author employed 70 young people aged 12-13 participants were randomly divided into experimental and control groups. In the experiment, all participants are supposed to complete the IAT pretest,post-test and the effect of the follow-up test after 72 hours. Both the experimental group and the control group are supposed to complete two tasks,in which the experimental group needed to complete one training task(Evaluative conditioning)and one video task(counterstereotype scenario),the control group needs to complete the training task(Evaluative conditioning technology)and one Unrelated painting tasks(Sand paintings). The results showed that there was no difference in pretest and post-test results between the experimental group and the control group, but there was significant difference in the follow-up test after 72 hours, and the control group tracking test results with pretest no difference, which suggests that multiple training mission is better than a single training mission effect. In order to further explore the maintenance effect of intervention training, the third experiment extended the duration of intervention training by increasing the times of intervention training on the basis of the second study,so as to further verify the maintenance effect of intervention training. Therefore, the author employed 70 young people at the third study aged 12-13 participants were randomly divided into experimental and control group,The participants used in the experiment also completed the IAT pretest, the post-test and the second intervention training after 72 hours, and the tracking test after 72 hours. The tasks was completed by the experimental group and the control group, the task and the study were the same as those of the second study. The difference was that the intervention training was performed again 72 hours after the completion of the post-test,and then the tracking test was performed after 72 hours. The results showed that there was no difference in pretest results and post-test results between the experimental group and the control group, and there was significant difference in the follow-up test results. This shows that using multiple tasks and increasing the number of training are better than simplyincreasing the number of single-task training. The training effect can be effectively maintained for one week.Three experiments were conducted in this paper to verify the influence of counterstereotype intervention training on age stereotype and the retention effect of intervention training. The results showed that:(1)Single-task intervention training can effectively weaken the age stereotype of the participants, but the training effort only last a short time;(2)The result and lasting time of multiple training tasks is much better than single-task intervention training;(3)More frequent training sessions for multiple training tasks can attain a better result than single-task intervention training, which only increases the times of intervention. And the result of multiple training tasks can maintain for a week.
