Chinese and Korean belong to different language families.Chinese is an Isolating language which depends on word order to display the grammar relations.By contrast,Korean is an Agglutinative language which relies on auxiliary words, conjunctions, and other elements to represent the grammar relations.Korean has a complex and abstract grammar system with a variety of causal expressions different in structure, pragmatic and semantic meanings. Some grammatical markers for cause have different meanings in different language contexts, and some markers also have negative meanings. These usages are expected to be the grammatical difficulties to Chinese learners. Therefore, only by correctly understanding the characteristics of each grammatical marker, distinguishing the difference of synonymous markers, and mastering its pragmatic rules can the Korean markers for cause be used correctly. This paper based on the grammatical markers for cause in the intensive reading textbook Korean intensive reading tutorial 1-4 "(?)",investigates the usage of these markers Korean majors of Lianyungang Technical College.Based on the research results of the predecessors, this paper uses induction and comparison to analyze the syntax and semantics features of grammatical markers for cause. The characteristics of "(?):Connect to predicates and represent:order, mode, parallel, causes, etc. The characteristics of "(?)":When it expresses the meaning of "discovery",the subject of the former sentence should be in the first person, while the subject of the latter sentence could different from the former sentence. The characteristics of "(?):Emphasize objective reasons and indicate a negative meaning. The characteristics of "(?)":Connect to the original form of the verb and the subject of former sentence is "person",while the subject of the latter sentence should be consistent with the subject of the former sentence. The characteristics of "(?)":Connect to predicates and normally be used for objective and reasoning texts.Such as argumentative papers and explanatory texts. The characteristics of "(?)":Indicate a negative meaning and emphasizes the continuation and repetition of causes that spirit cannot be concentrated. The characteristics of "(?)":Connect to predicates and indicate a meaning of serious "complaint",indicating the meaning of shirking responsibility and obvious complaints. The characteristics of "(?):The reasons expressed is "bursty"and the event occurred has no relation with the speaker's intention. The characteristic of "(?)":The subject of the latter sentence is the first person and the fact that the speaker finds the reason for his behavior from external world is emphasized, mostly used in spoken language. The characteristic of "(?)":Indicate the reason and basis. It can be used in either written language or oral language. Then it uses the questionnaire to investigate the mastery of these markers by the students. It summarizes that the types of errors in the use of the grammatical marker for cause by students are as follows:sequence errors, semantic errors, terminative sentence errors, and translation errors. Finally, the reasons for these errors are analyzed in this paper. Two factors contribute to the students' errors:semantic distinguishing errors, concluding remarks distinguishing errors, translation errors, multiple meanings errors, habitual errors etc.The author hopes that this study can help Korean learners understand the similarities and differences of the grammatical forms of the cause class correctly, and can play a role in compiling Korean textbooks and Korean teaching.
