The Compound directional complement “qilai” play important role in Chinese grammar system.It has a high frequency in Chinese with different semantic meaning,structural form changeably and complicated usage,especially extended meaning and the Positional Relationship between Chinese Compound Directional Complement and object.These above are difficult point to study for foreigner student especially for Vietnamese student,so it is not easy for student to grasp when study compound directional complement “qilai”.For above reasons,there are a lot of biased errors appeared and influenced badly to student's study.I make an investigation to focus on Vietnamese student that based on studying result of researcher and the collected data by myself.My survey's object mainly are students of HUE college of foreign languages with 3 different levels included advanced,intermediated and elementary stage.my research's content is showed by the result of investigate and statistics about Vietnamese student on studying compound directional complement “qilai”.Firstly,I put my hand to summarize briefly the meaning,structure,form of “qilai”in Chinese language and directional verb in Vietnamese language.Next,summarizing the corresponding expression of “qilai” in Vietnamese language and pointing out the common and different places about directional complement in both languages.Secondly,Understanding the process of studying of Vietnamese student about directional complement “qilai” in different stages is carried out by questionnaire examine then pointing out two types of biased errors and reason for errors.The biased errors include mistaken substitute and wrong place between compound directional complement and object.The reason of the biased errors mainly come from mother toung's effect,over-generalization,language environment and teaching method.Last,finding the studying rule of Vietnamese student and giving the teaching suggestion.Its aim contributes on decreasing the biased errors for Vietnamese student when studying directional complement “qilai” and give helpful suggestion for teaching Chinese in Vietnam as a reference.
