At the age of accelerated internationalization,the international exchange and cooperation is carried out comprehensively in China’s universities and institutes to respond to the call of"the Belt and Road"Education Project.The demands for internationalization in faculties,student sources,scientific researches and courses are increasingly rising,which contributes to the occurrence of more and more international joint training programs for undergraduates,postgraduates and PhD students.Translating and interpreting become indispensable bridges for communication in the process of educational internationalization development,which to some extents creates more chances for MTI students concerning the translation and interpretation practices and jobs.Under this circumstance,the author is honored to be responsible for parts of the consecutive interpreting and liaison interpreting.During the process of completing the task,the author realized that:interpretations under different situations have their own purposiveness,and the audience-oriented purposes determine the interpreting strategies the interpreter adopts in the interpreting to a great extent;Also,the interpreter is not involved in an interpreting occasion invisibly,but exert his/her active subjectivity for boosting the smooth progress of the interpretation.The concrete adoptions of interpretation strategies in the interpreting process are analyzed based on an orientation for international university freshmen,with the combination of the Skopos theory and Interpreter’s Subjectivity.And the insufficient parts of the interpretation on the scene are pointed out with the revised version.This thesis is composed of four parts.The first part includes the background introduction,literature review,research significance,and the framework of the thesis;the second part sums up the characteristics,evaluations and improvement space of the interpretation task by reviewing the whole process of interpreting as well as pre-interpreting and post-interpreting;the third part evaluates and analyzes the concrete strategies and methods used in the detailed cases of the interpretation from the perspective of three principles of Skopos theory,and the concrete embodiment of the interpreter’s subjectivity is also discussed with examples.Finally,suggestions for MTI students and practitioners,MTI teaching programs as well as the researches in the future are given by concluding this task and this thesis.
