As one of the thematic teaching forms,the subject unit teaching refers to a kind of teaching activity in which the meaningful content is used as a carrier and the unit is used as a unit to let the learning focus on related topics.Thematic unit teaching is currently widely used in the teaching of mother tongue and second language,and the effect is remarkable.This paper applies it to the teaching design and practice of Brazilian Chinese teaching.Based on the theory of holistic linguistics,this thesis starts from the perspective of teaching Chinese to adult in Brazil,and based on the research results of predecessors,the theme unit teaching design for the Brazilian region is carried out.The teaching design is student-centered and teacher-oriented.At the same time,it focuses on training comprehensive quality of listening,speaking,reading,writing and translating,and fully meets the needs of students in Brazil.The author conducted a four-month practice at the Confucius Institute at Pará State University in Brazil,and collected relevant data for comparative experimental analysis.The results show that the effect of the teaching method in practical applications is time-based,and is more suitable for the students who want to learn Chinese for a long time.This article is divided into five parts.The first chapter is the introduction part,mainly on the research background,research status,research significance and research methods.The second chapter gives an overview of the subject unit teaching method,mainly for the theoretical explanation,explains the theoretical basis of the subject unit teaching method,and introduces its connotation,teaching elements and basic characteristics,among which the key points are between the teaching elements.Relationships and draw diagrams for analysis.The third chapter is based on Brazilian students.The second part of the Portuguese version of Happy Chinese,"My Home",is used as an example to carry out systematic teaching design,not only for the characteristics of students in Brazil and the teaching environment.The system analysis was carried out,and specific teaching links were designed.At the same time,classroom observation scales and classroom effect scales were designed for teachers and students,which were used for teachers and students to evaluate teaching during the course practice.The fourth chapter is based on the teaching design of the third chapter.After the teaching practice of the local Brazilian students,the author made a comparative experiment analysis based on the collected teaching results.The two classes taught by the author using different teaching methods are Experimentalsubjects,using the usual observation results and the mid-term and end-end test scores as experimental data,using SPSS data analysis software to analyze the experimental results,and teaching reflection.The fifth chapter is the conclusion part,which summarizes the research content and research results of this paper,and explains the work done by the author in the research process.At the same time,it expounds the innovation points and deficiencies of this paper.
