The directional complements can be divided into simple directional complements and compound directional complements.They are linguistic points that are used frequently by Chinese native speakers.However,due to the large number of categories and the complex semantics and syntax,foreign students are apt to confuse.This is the focus and difficulty of teaching Chinese as foreign language.By reviewing the previous research results,we found that research on directional complements in terms of grammatical meaning,sentence structure,and error analysis is quite rich,but there is less research on the acquisition of a single directional complement.Li Ziyue(2014)conducted a separate study on the acquisition situation of "qilai".I thus concludes that understanding the sequence of acquisition among a certain trending complement can be of some help to Chinese language teaching.Therefore,in previous studies on the basis of this,I selected the "chulai" as the research object that the foreign students use frequently only after "qilai".This paper uses a combination of corpus analysis,data analysis,comparative analysis and error analysis,the grammatical meaning of the directional complement"chulai" is divided into four categories,sentence structure is divided into six categories,the survey project is divided into 12 classes.Through research and comparison,found that Chinese native speakers and foreign students tend to use the directional complement"chulai" in almost the same tendency,but there are certain differences in the use of certain items.Then combined with the learning status and bias of foreign students in different learning stages,we found the order of acquisition of the foreign student's directional complement "chulai"is Bla>Blb>B6b>B3a>B3b>B5a>B5b>B4b>B6a>B4a>B2a>B2b.Finally,the relevant teaching suggestions are proposed by examining the arrangement of the directional complement "chulai" in the current outline and teaching materials.
