A Chinese Translation Report On Passive Sentences From Big Data Forensics-Learning Hadoop Investigation(Chapter One&Chapter Two)

With the continuous development of science and technology,big data is widely used,and big data forensics becomes more concerned.This is a report on translating passive sentences from Big Data Forensics-Learning Hadoop Investigation(chapter one&chapter two).Under the guidance of Newmark's communicative translation theory,this paper discusses the translation method of passive sentences,aiming to faithfully and smoothly translate the English for Science and Technology and provide a reference for subsequent studies.English for Science and Technology texts are professional and formal,whose first and second person with subjective color is rarely used.Instead,the passive sentence is widely used to avoid infiltration of subjective factors,with more rigorous and objective expression.There are many passive sentences in this text of big data,and the structure and expression of English and Chinese passive sentences are greatly different.Therefore,how to translate passive sentences faithfully and smoothly is the main topic in this translation task.The report is divided into four parts:The first part is the description of the task,including introduction,characteristics and significance.The second part is the translation process,including pre-translation that involves planning,text comprehension and literature review,in-translation that contains communicative translation theory,translation difficulties and processing,and post-translation.The third part is case study,which is combined with specific examples to analyze the translation method of passive sentences,translating them into Chinese active sentences,passive sentences,non-subject sentences and judgment sentences.The fourth part is the summary of this translation task,and the reflection that we can gain.The source article is an informative text whose purpose is to accurately convey the original information and ensure the readability of the translation.In the process of translation,communicative translation theory is adopted.Without rigidly adhering to the original form,various methods are used flexibly to make the translation both faithfulness and smoothness.In this way,both the target reader and the original reader can feel the same effect,so as to realize the communicative function.
