Since the 21 st century,with the in-depth development of globalization and the deepening of international cultural exchanges,books,as a cultural carrier,play a crucial role,and the translation of foreign books is one of the main ways for cultural communication.Good foreign books are also an important way for domestic scholars or relevant practitioners to learn from foreign studies.The translated materials in this report are chapter 5 and chapter 6 of Strategic Production Innovation,which respectively describe the creation step and the evaluation step of products.The text belongs to informative text.This book has certain guiding significance on how to have innovative thinking of subversive products.The source language of this book is concise,and many examples are cited to illustrate the implied truth.Therefore,the environment and expression of the target country should be fully taken into consideration when translating,so as to make the translation easy to be accepted by the reader of target language countries.In this practice report,the author firstly describes the task of translation,especially the requirements of the translation project,which also includes the translation background and purpose.The second part is the author's preparation in the process of translation,which mainly includes pre-translation preparation,in-translation and post-translation revision.The following part is the main part of this translation report,which discusses the application of translation strategies such as amplification,omission and inversion under the guidance of Skopos theory,so as to achieve the goal of smooth and faithful translation of the original text,and analyzes with examples.
