Vocabulary teaching plays an important role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and runs through the whole process of language teaching.Polysemous words occupy a large proportion in Chinese vocabulary,polysemous meanings are numerous,students are easy to be confused in the process of learning,so polysemy teaching has always been the focus and difficulty in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.How to find an effective teaching method to help students correctly distinguish and use polysemous words in the teaching process is an urgent problem to be solved in the field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.As one of the second language teaching methods,situational teaching has been playing an irreplaceable role in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.Situational teaching method also has its own advantages in polysemy teaching.It can define the meaning of polysemous words through a specific situation,make the meaning of polysemous words single,and avoid ambiguity in the process of teaching.And the process of language learning is boring,tired,students in this process is very easy to create boredom,learning results are greatly compromised.But the situation teaching method can attract the students' attention and tune by creating vivid and interesting,real and natural language scenes,starting with the characteristics and interests of the students.Move their enthusiasm and enthusiasm,create a relaxed and pleasant classroom atmosphere,to a certain extent,the classroom teaching effect will be better presented.On the basis of situational teaching method,this paper takes Russian foreign students of advanced Chinese level as teaching objects and polysemous words in the series of textbooks “developing Chinese Advanced Synthesis(1)” as the teaching content.Several typical polysemous words are selected to show the teaching examples.The main research methods used in this paper are literature reading method,interview observation method and data statistics method.The full text is divided into five parts,the first part is the introduction,mainly describes the background and significance of the topic,related theoretical research literature review,as well as the research methods used in this paper.The second part is situational teaching method,the interpretation of Chinese polysemy related concepts This paper provides a theoretical basis for this paper.The third part is the analysis of the applicability of situational teaching method in the teaching of Chinese polysemous words for Russian senior students,including the analysis of teaching objects,the characteristics of advanced stage vocabulary teaching and the existing problems.There is also the advantage and importance of situational teaching in vocabulary teaching.The fourth part mainly combines the teaching object,the teaching content,the concrete teaching example display and the teaching reflection.The last part is the conclusion,mainly the summary of the full text,and points out the problems existing in this paper,and looks forward to improvement in the future research.
