Since the beginning of the 21 st century,with the rapid development of Chinese economy,Chinese position in the world has become more and more important.Chinese is playing an increasingly important role in international communication.The international has been crazing for learning Chinese,which make teaching Chinese as a second language entered a new phase of rapid development.It has become the subject of extensive research that how to help foreign students overcome learning difficulties to master Chinese better and faster.The use of game teaching method is an indispensable teaching aid.The paper including five chapters.The first chapter is introduction including four parts: historical background & the reasons for the topic selection,relevant research results,the purpose and significance of the research and research methods.The second chapter is an overview of the game teaching method,including: the definition of the game teaching method,the theoretical basis,the principle and the influence of the game teaching method on the elementary reading class.The third chapter is the application of game teaching method in elementary reading class.It mainly analyzes the related cases of voice games,vocabulary games and Chinese characters games in the elementary reading class.And the paper put forward the suggestions that the game teaching method is applied to the elementary reading class.The fourth chapter is the teaching design-taking the 16 th lesson of Chinese Reading Course(I)as an example,and this chapter including:textbook analysis,student analysis and lesson plans details.The fifth chapter is conclusion.According to the research,the author puts forward the own cognition of the "game teaching method",summarizes the games the author have analysed in the paper.The Word Solitaire is more suitable for classes with a small number of students in the intermediate and advanced reading class.The rest of the game is more suitable for elementary reading class.In this paper,the author collates and summarizes the literature related to the game teaching method.Analyzing the feasibility and necessity of the application of the game teaching method in the elementary reading class.Redefining the rules of the games suitable for the students from Central Asia and Africa according to the teaching experience,which can promote the game teaching method to better serve the elementary reading class.Meanwhile the author design two teaching plans based on the Chinese Reading Course(?).The author hope to provide reference for teachers who teach students in Central Asia and Africa in elementary reading class.
