With the acceleration of global integration, exchanges between China and other countries in various fields are increasingly frequent as well as in the field of higher education. In the context of the internationalization of higher education,China is attaching more importance to international academic exchanges. However, the books related to the internationalization of higher education in the domestic market are not yet comprehensive.Faced with this situation, the author translated Chapter II and part of Chapter III of An Introduction to the Internationalization of Higher Education and analyzed the translation strategies and methods used in educational texts. This paper is divided into four parts. The first part introduces translation tasks. The second part is the description of the translation process. The third part is the translation theory and case analysis. On the basis of Skopos Theory and case analysis, the author discusses translation strategies and methods employed at the lexical, syntactic and textual levels respectively. The last part is the summary of translation practice, including the gains and shortcomings of this translation practice, and gives some implications for future work and study. In the process of translation the author discusses the translation strategies and methods employed at the lexical, syntactic and textual levels under the guidance of Skopos Theory. At the lexical level the author mainly studies the translation of proper nouns and nominalized structures;at the syntactic level the author mainly discusses thetranslation of passive sentences and long English sentences, and at the textual level,intra-paragraph cohesion and inter-paragraph cohesion are mainly studied. This paper aims to provide some new ideas for the translation of educational texts by exploring the translation of educational texts under the guidance of Skopos Theory.
