After the 1980 s,internationalization has shifted from the previously subsidiary status to the central position in the field of higher education.How to effectively evaluate the internationalization of higher education is that the special research of internationalization strategy has gradually become the focus of the higher education community.The translation was conducted in English-Chinese translation.The paper,Measuring and Assessing Internationalization,was selected from Madeleine Green in 2012 and published in the International Association of Educators‘ Association to have a knowledge about the internationalization of higher education.In the process of translation,several language phenomena and translation difficulties are found and summarized,including the translation of educational text prepositional phrases,the translation of vocabulary in educational context,and the translation of passive voice.Different translation strategies are adopted for each difficulty.In the end,we can not only understand the evaluation criteria and status quo of internationalization of higher education,but also summarize the difficulties in translation in the inductive text,sum up the characteristics and language style of educational research reports,improve the translation level,and accumulate experience for future translation practice.
