Since the 1950 s,a large number of tombs of Tang Dynasty have been excavated around Xi'an.Most of the large and medium-sized tombs of Tang Dynasty are brick chamber tombs.During the excavation of these tombs in brick chambers of the Tang Dynasty,little attention was paid to their architectural structure and construction technology.This paper takes No.1accompanying Tomb of Xianling as the breakthrough point,and the characteristics of the related construction issues as the main content by the comparison and analysis of other tomb materials.The tomb is a two-chamber brick chamber Tomb which is abandoned with no-grave owner.Among the tombs that have been excavated,there is only such one.In the process of research,the relative age of the tomb was determined.With the research of the construction process of the brick-chambered tomb of the Tang Dynasty in Guanzhong area,the paper mainly focuses on the characteristics of the tomb construction project of the Tang Dynasty.During the research,Mr.Subai's three-stage theory is applied.This paper mainly focuses on the large and medium-sized brick chamber tombs in the second stage,with few relations of the first and third stages.In order to better study the construction project of Tang Tomb,the knowledge of modern engineering and ergonomics are adopted to compare,analyze and make tentative analysis of excavation works of earthwork appropriately.The three-dimensional system of No.1 Tomb of Xianling was carried out with the help of drawing software Auto CAD.With the gradual and further study of the construction of brick tombs in the Tang Dynasty,some of the confusion in the construction is solved.However,more unsolvable problems have been found,,which need more archaeological data and more vivid research.
