Chinese learners in Indonesia are constantly growing these years,and their Chinese language skills have also been greatly improved.However,the ability of students to speak and listen Chinese has greatly surpassed their ability to read and write.Moreover,with the deepening of Chinese language learning,the imbalance of Chinese language learners' listening,speaking,reading and writing skills in Indonesia is widening.that is,the ability of listening and speaking is increasingly higher than that of reading and writing,especially the writing of Chinese characters.The types of Chinese strokes are diverse and complex.For foreign Chinese learners,stroke errors have become the most basic and common problem in Chinese character writing.In this paper,based on the penetrating errors of Indonesian Chinese learners,a questionnaire survey is conducted to investigate 60 local Indonesian students(including Chinese born in Indonesia)at Semarang State University in Indonesia,and analyzes the Chinese character writing problems of these students in depth.On basis of which we explores,their learning situation and the classification of the Chinese character stroke errors appearing,and finally we tentatively put forward the corresponding teaching suggestions.According to the results of the investigation and analyses,this paper divides the errors of Indonesian students' Chinese strokes into four types,namely,pen shape errors,increased and decreased stroke errors,combination errors and disconnection errors,and analyze them one by one.And we argue that the reasons for the students' stroke errors includes the students' attitudes towards Chinese learning,the complexity of Chinese strokes,the historical relationship between China and Indonesia,the students' ambiguity about Chinese strokes,the teaching methods and the teaching materials,and the selection of texts,and the problem of mother tongue migration in Indonesian students.Finally,the author puts forward three corresponding teaching suggestions: First,explaining from the side of the teacher's side,emphasizing the basic strokes of the Chinese characters and establishing the awareness of Chinese strokes by paying attention to the order of the strokes and the three-point form;Emphasizing the error-prone strokes,and enumerating the three strokes that are most prone to bias;the last is to help students to increase their interest in Chinese characters,reduce the difficulty of memory,improve learning efficiency,and reduce the occurrence of errors.
