This thesis focuses on Thematic Instruction.Taking Sydney Chinese School as the main research platform,and combining with the teaching practice of teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Australia,we explore the degree of absorption,acceptance and recognition for overseas Chinese learners with Chinese background in Australia.In the introduction,I expound the research background and the methods of this article.The next chapter is the theoretical basis of my research.The thirdchapter shows my thematical instructional teaching design for students with Chinese background at Sydney Chinese School.In this chapter,overall teaching plan which named “the Mid-Autumn Festival” has been showed.I also sum up four steps of the teaching process,and take "the legend of the Mid-Autumn Festival" as a teaching design example.The fourth chapter evaluates teaching design from the three aspects of the students,school and author,and then finds three suggestions.The research achievement and limitation are at the end of article.This paper hopes to provide some inspiration for the Chinese teachers overseas,especially for the teachers working at Chinese Schools. |
