The Influence Of The Dark Triad On Intimacy Of College Students: The Mechanism Of Love Psychological Maturity And Family Function

The main purpose of this paper is to probe the love situation of College Students,Th is research attempt to explore the influence of Dark Triad(Machiavellianism,psychopathy,narcissism)to intimate relationship.Meanwhile,the study also aimed at investigating the rol e Of the love psychological maturity and Family function on it.And whether each variab les have gender differences.The whole group of extraction of 1100 undergraduate students in three university of Jiangxi province were assessed.The Chinese Revised Dirty Dozen(DD)?The Chinese Revised Quality of Relationship Index(QRI)? the family cohesion and adaptability scale in Chinese version(FACESII-CV)?College Students Love Psychological Maturity Scale were employed to collect the effective observed data,then delete invalid data and record by SPSS software.the data are processed and analyzed by descriptive statistics,independent sample T test and regression analysis.The following conclusions are get:(1)Love is a common phenomenon in universities,but it still accounts for a large proportion of college students who are not in love;(2)In this study,the total score of the dark triad and the three traits of Machiavellianism?psychopathy?narcissism were gender differences,and the scores of the dark triad and the two traits of Machiavellianism and psychopathy were significantly higher than those of the girls,while the scores of female students in narcissism were significantly higher than those of the boys.In terms of love psychological maturity,in general,male students' love psychological maturity,love stress response,delight and love values are significantly higher than girls,while girls in caring are significantly higher than boys,and there is no significant gender difference in intimate relationship satisfaction,actual family cohesion degree and adaptability;(3)There is a significant correlation between Dark triad,intimate relationship satisfaction,love psychological maturity,actual family cohesion degree and adaptability exist pair significant correlation.The actual family cohesion degree and adaptability significantly negatively predicted the dark triad,significantly positive prediction of intimate relationship satisfaction and love psychological maturity;the dark triad significantly negatively predicted intimate relationship satisfaction and love psychological maturity;love psychological maturity significantly positively predicted intimate relationship satisfaction;(4)The dark triad exist partial mediator effect: between family function(actual family cohesion degree and adaptability)and intimate relationship satisfaction,that is to say,real family intimacy and adaptability can direct affect intimate relationship satisfaction,also can affect it through the dark triad? and love psychological maturity plays a fully mediating role in family function(actual family cohesion degree and adaptability)prediction on intimate relationship satisfaction,that is to say,add the love psychological maturity,the impact of actual familycohesion degree and adaptability on intimate relationship satisfaction become less important,mainly through love psychological maturity to affect intimate relationship satisfaction.(5)The dark triad and love psychological maturity play as the chain mediating effect between family function(actual family cohesion degree and adaptability)and intimate relationship satisfaction.There are two ways to influence the degree of intimate relationship satisfaction in actual family cohesion degree and adaptability: the first,affects the dark triad to influence the love psychological maturity,then further affect intimate relationship satisfaction;second,directly through love psychological maturity affect the satisfaction degree of intimacy.
