Written by Fayun in Southern Song Dynasty(1143),Fan Yi Ming Yi Ji(翻译名义集)is an important Buddhist scripture in ancient China.It preserved a large number of ancient Chinese characters when it quoted such books.It is of great importance for ancient book collection and Chinese character research.The academic circles on Fan Yi Ming Yi Ji are mainly on introduction and relisting.Fan Yi Ming Yi Ji(翻译名义集),which publicated in the Song Dynasty is the most complete and the closest to the original.Based on the combination of linguistics and philology,this paper aims to sorted out the book cited Buddhist problem.And computer technology is used to establish database.The Fan Yi Ming Yi Ji(翻译名义集)quoted 269 kinds of Buddhist scriptures,including 2052 cases.The citations based on the original text,aim to explain terms or provide evidence for its statement By comparing,there are similarities as well as differences.between them,such as Yiyin(意引)Yiwen(异文)Zhuanshi(转释)Jiyong(借用)Ewu()误)etc.For example,the difference between"博"and"愽"is related to Yiwen(异文);the difference between"恒"and"常"is related to Zhuanshi(转释).Due to various reasons,the paper still has many shortcomings that need to be improved in the future.
