The work consists of two parts.Part one translates English text into Chinese.Part two is a report on the translation process.Two excerpts of the translated papers are selected from the core journal of SSCI,Oxford Review of Education,which relates to philosophy of education.The philosophy of education represents a discipline that studies the basic problems of education from the viewpoint and method of philosophy.It integrates the knowledge of pedagogy,history of education,psychology and other pedagogical disciplines,and explains the basic problems with education from a philosophical point of view.When translating the work,the translator completes the translation task under the guidance of functional equivalence theory.Translator will use the acquired translation methods to solve the problems encountered in the process of translation.Finally,the translator summarizes the translation process and prepares translation reports.The report is guided by functional equivalence theory.During this period,difficulties encountered in practice are be analyzed by using the methods of analysis,induction and summary.They involve the logical understanding of the original text and the translation of long sentences.Representative cases are used to perform targeted analysis,and a detailed analysis of the translation process under the guidance of functional equivalence.The report is comprised of the four parts: 1.Introducing the overall translation task and discussing the translation value of the original text,2.Discussing the selected theories and discussing their theoretical core and development.,3.Analyzing the cases and classifying them based on the three main translation techniques,in addition to elaborating the translation process with the cases.,4.Summarizing the report,including the task itself and the translator's gains and perceptions of translation.It also summarizes the shortcomings of this translation practice.
