Simulated Practice Report On Simultaneous Interpretation Of The Opening Ceremony Of China Space Day 2019

This interpreting practice report is based on 2019 China Space Day opening ceremony and China Space Conference.The author combines Gile's Effort Model to analyze the process of simulating interpretation including listening and analysis,short-term memory,production,coordination and analyzes with specific interpretation examples to summarize interpreting strategies adopted by the author,including deverbalization,prediction,abbreviation and omission,in response to limited effort allocation.The opening ceremony of the 2019 Space Conference,as the author's analysis text,can realize the application of Gile's Effort Model in related fields.Thus,interpreters would be more familiar with relevant interpreting steps,forming a systematic and standard procedure.This practice report includes four chapters.The first chapter mainly introduces this interpretation task.The second chapter mainly introduces Gile's Effort Model,including the origin and development of the theory and the main content of the theory.The third chapter introduces the task process including pre-task preparation and simulation process of the task.The fourth chapter analyzes how the author applied Gile's Effort Model in interpreting and what interpreting strategies were adopted..
