In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,teaching method plays a very important role.Choosing the appropriate teaching method plays an important role in enhancing the effect of classroom teaching.The task-based teaching method originated in the 1980 s,which advocates the way of classroom communication and interaction to learn knowledge in specific teaching situations.With the characteristics of student-centered and communicative competence training,TCFL has gradually attracted the attention of TCFL.As an important course to cultivate students' reading skills,the final teaching purpose of reading Chinese as a foreign language is to enable students to have the ability to read various information,so it pays great attention to the cultivation of reading comprehension ability and the mastery of reading skills.Task-based teaching method emphasizes that students master knowledge and skills in the process of completing tasks,which is consistent with the goal of cultivating students' reading comprehension ability in intermediate reading class.Therefore,this paper puts forward the idea of applying the task-based teaching method to the teaching of TCFL intermediate reading class,so as to carry out the teaching design and explore the feasibility of applying the task-based teaching method to TCFL intermediate reading class.This paper is divided into four parts: the first part is the introduction.The purpose,significance,contents and methods of this study are explained.Combing and summarizing the relevant literature of task-based teaching method and teaching Chinese reading as a foreign language.The second part is to explain the application of task-based teaching method in teaching Chinese as a foreign language intermediate reading course.Combing the relevant concepts of task-based teaching method,summarizing the characteristics of intermediate reading class of TCFL,and analyzing the feasibility of the combination of the two.The third part focuses on the application of task-based teaching method in the teaching of intermediate reading course of TCFL.This paper analyzes the relevant elements of teaching design,and selects a close reading text and a close reading text from the intermediate reading textbook of developing Chinese intermediate reading I for teaching design.The fourth part is the summary ofthe task-based teaching method applied to the teaching design of intermediate reading class of TCFL.Through the specific teaching design,this paper reflects on the advantages and disadvantages of the task-based teaching method applied in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language intermediate reading,and puts forward targeted teaching suggestions.
