China and Vietnam are neighboring countries,they are connected by land and sea.Since ancient times,the two governments and its people have maintained close exchanges.Vietnamese has also been greatly influenced by Chinese.This influence is mainly reflected in the large number of Chinese Loanwords in Vietnamese vocabulary,that is,Sino-Vietnamese words.Sino-Vietnamese words are the treasure house of Vietnamese,accounting for more than 60% of the total.They are frequently and widely used.Therefore,the study of Sino-Vietnamese words is of great significance to Vietnamese Chinese learners and Chinese teaching.As there are many types of Sino-Vietnamese words,Vietnamese Chinese learners have difficulty in distinguishing their functions.In this paper,3125 Sino-Vietnamese words are counted from HSK(5000 words)vocabulary database.Through comparative analysis 3125 pairs of Chinese words and their corresponding Sino-Vietnamese words are divided into eight categories:Category A,Syllable correspondence between Chinese words and Sino-Vietnamese words,with the same meaning and usage;Category B,Syllable correspondence between Chinese words and Sino-Vietnamese words,with the same meaning but different usage;Category C,Syllable correspondence between Chinese words and Sino-Vietnamese words,with different meaning and different usage;Category D,syllabic misorder of Chinese words and Sino-Vietnamese words,with the same meaning and usage;Category E,The syllables of Sino-Vietnamese words are reduced relative to those of Chinese words,with the same meaning and usage;Category F,One syllable of Sino-Vietnamese words corresponds to two syllables of Chinese words;Category G,Both Sino-Vietnamese words and Vietnamese words coexist;Category H,Sino-Vietnamese words were replaced by Vietnamese words.According to the above classification,using the theoretical hypothesis of comparative analysis,the acquisition difficulty of these eight types of Chinese words is predicted and the order of difficulty levels is arranged.Secondly,through a questionnaire survey,it is verified whether the order predicted in this paper is consistent with the actual situation of learners.Finally,according to the results of the original prediction and investigation,we adjust and finally arrange the order of difficulty levels of Vietnamese Chinese learners' acquisition of Chinese words corresponding to Sino-Vietnamese words,and then according to the results oferror analysis,combined with the characteristics of Sino-Vietnamese words,the difficulty level of Chinese word acquisition,the Chinese level of Vietnamese Chinese learners and other relevant teaching strategies are proposed.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly discusses the reason of the topic selection,the purpose and content of the research,the value and significance of the research,the research ideas and methods,the Sino-Vietnamese words and the selection problems;The second part is the analysis and classification of the Chinese words and their corresponding Sino-Vietnamese words,which are divided into eight categories according to their phonetics,meanings and usages;The third part is the ranking of acquisition difficulty According to the order of difficulty level predicted by comparative analysis,Vietnamese Chinese learners' acquisition of Chinese words corresponding to Sino-Vietnamese words are investigated and difficulty ranking is proposed.The fourth part is about the teaching strategies for Vietnamese Chinese learners in acquiring Chinese words corresponding to Sino-Vietnamese words,mainly from three aspects: the characteristics of Sino-Vietnamese words and the difficulty level of Chinese word acquisition,acquisition errors and Chinese level;The fifth part: conclusion,mainly summarizes the research result and the research insufficiency.The purpose of this study is to provide some reference materials for Vietnamese Chinese learners and Chinese teachers.It is also hoped that Vietnamese Chinese learners can improve their Chinese level by mastering more Chinese words corresponding to Sino-Vietnamese words,and at the same time provide some effective teaching strategies for Chinese teachers.
