Modal particles in Chinese,as a small category of function words,are small in number but difficult to grasp.It has always been a difficult point for international students to learn.To solve this problem,the three basic modal particles "Ba" and "Ma" are used."Ne" as the research object,sort out the basic usages of "Ba","Ma" and "Ne",and distinguish the modal particles with similar usage.The combination of test paper and corpus is used to examine the errors of foreign students in using modal particles.After analysis,it is found that when using modal particles,foreign students are most likely to mistakenly add "Ba" at the end of imperative and declarative sentences,and often misuse the modal particle "Ma" When using "Ne",it is often omitted at the end of the specific question or added more "Ne" in the selective question.The main reasons for these errors are insufficient target language knowledge and excessive generalization,confusion of similar usage of modal particles,failure to fully understand the meaning of modal particles,and the use of bad learning strategies,and then by emphasizing the similar usage of modal particles,timely consolidation Enhance the practice,create situations,lively and diversify the teaching of modal particles,adjust learning strategies,encourage students to express themselves,strengthen the teaching and learning of modal particles,help international students reduce errors in learning and using modal particles,and improve Chinese learning effectiveness.
