Vocabulary teaching is the most basic part of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Polysemy is not only a difficult point for teachers to teach,but also a place where foreign students are particularly prone to errors.Therefore,effective research on Polysemy Teaching strategies will help teachers overcome teaching difficulties and reduce students’ acquisition errors.Based on the theory of metaphor,this paper studies the polysemy "good" and "hao + X/ X + hao",hoping to put forward effective teaching suggestions.It contains four chapters:In the first chapter,the introduction mainly elaborates the origin and significance of the topic,reviews the previous studies on "hao + X / X + hao",points out the problems and shortcomings in the previous research,and introduces the research methods and steps used in this paper.Chapter two makes a comprehensive analysis of "hao + X / X +hao".Based on Modern Chinese Dictionary and HSK Standard Course,this paper analyses the meanings,metaphor development and communication environment of "hao + X / X + hao".Chapter three makes a comparative analysis of "hao".Comparing the polysemous word "hao" with the English word "good/very/well",this paper explores the similarities and differences between them.Chapter three investigates the errors of "hao + X / X + hao".Through the corpus of dynamic composition corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University,this paper analyses the use of "hao + X / X +hao",collates the relevant error corpus of second language learners,and finds out the error reasons of "hao + X / X + hao".Chapter Four,on the basis of the ontological study of "X+hao/hao+X",puts forward the teaching strategies of polysemy in the light of foreign students’ acquisition errors.In terms of teaching,this paper mainly expounds the necessity of applying metaphor theory to vocabulary teaching of TCFL,and then takes "hao + X / X + hao" as an example to make specific teaching design.
