The Translation Report On Tecsun Radio Reviews Of Computer Aided Translation And Machine Translation

Nowadays,artificial intelligence technology has become popular and thus machine translation and computer-aided translation have become the basic means in translation industry.However,machine translation still cannot fully take the place of human translation,and there are still many problems need to be solved.Therefore,machine translation plus post-editing is believed to be the mainstream translation method in the translation industry now and for next few years.What this article analyzes is the translation of a Tecsun radio reviews that I encountered in translation practice.The radio reviews have the characteristics of informational text and operational text.Therefore,the use of machine translation plus post-editing will not only improve the translation efficiency,but also ensure the quality of translation delivery.At the same time,time constraints and heavy tasks are also objective reasons for the decision to use machine translation and post-editing method.Owing to the limited time and heavy task,with the help of the translation technology and experience,the author finally adopts an efficient and high-quality translation solution,that is,the combination of machine translation,computer-aided translation and post editing,to ensure the smooth completion of the translation project.This translation report is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the description of translation project.The second chapter briefly introduces the translation process.Chapter three is the core of this report.Through examples,this paper summarized typical errors in machine translation,and analyzes the corresponding post editing strategies from lexical,syntactic and textual levels.Chapter four is a summary of this translation report.It is hoped that this report will be helpful to the promotion of the author’s ability and in the future this report may function as a reference for the translation of similar texts.
