Interpreting lies in practice.The interpreter chooses three television interviews concerning “Belt and Road” to do this interpreting practice,and applies Gile's Effort Model to analyze and evaluate this interpreting work.Meanwhile,the interpreter also adopts different strategies to solve the problems encountered in interpreting.Aimed at mutual benefits and win-win cooperation,“Belt and Road” makes full use of the existing multilateral cooperation mechanisms and effective regional cooperation platforms between China and other countries to further develop their economic partnerships.Until now,lots of countries and international organizations have signed relevant cooperation agreements with China,which is beneficial to the development of China and the world.This interpreting closely follows the trend of the times.Through this practice,the interpreter has not only improved her interpreting skills,but also gained a deeper understanding of “Belt and Road”.In order to fully describe this interpreting practice,this report is carried out in the following four chapters: task description,process description,case analysis and reflections.The first chapter mainly introduces objective,significance and television interview interpreting.The second chapter respectively describes this practice in three steps,and they are preparation before interpreting,process of interpreting and evaluation after interpreting.In the third chapter,the interpreter divides the emerging problems into several categories.In the light of Gile's Effort Model,the interpreter also adopts different interpreting strategies to cope with these problems.Further explanations are also given in typical examples.The last chapter is the interpreter's reflections on this interpreting practice and the interpreting career.
