Textual Research About The Development History Of Music And Art Education Of China University Of Mining And Technology

As the pioneer of higher education in modern times,the China University of Mining and Technology achievements of music and art education played a role in radiation during a century.The paper used the oral history research method to interview alumni and record historical musical events,and consulted historical materials of school musical activities to analyze social background and educational envents effects to music and art education.In March 1909,Peking Syndica te Limited in Britain established Jiaozuo Road and Ore School,the predecessor of China University of Mining and Technology.At the beginning,Cai Yuanpei as the chairman of the school raised the all round development,and attached importance to the influence of music and art to students education.Until the end of the 20 th century,China University of Mining and Technology answered the quality education call,promoted music and art activities on campus.During the 110 years history of the university,music and art education has played an important part throughout.The paper is divided in five stages and organized in chronological order.It introduces in different stages of the university,the presentation forms and effects of music and art education.
