In recent years,under the background of the current global popularity of Chinese learning,the Chinese teaching in South Korea develops rapidly.The CPIK project came about gradually.The author was fortunate to be a member of the 2019 CPIK Chinese Language Project,and went to Gyeongju Middle School and Silla High School in Gyeongsangbuk-do,South Korea to teach Chinese.During this period,the author found that although the CPIK Chinese project in Gyeongsangbuk-do,South Korea,has developed since its inception,there are still some problems in the development and implementation of the CPIK project.The author designed two questionnaires.The first questionnaire was based on 14 CPIK Chinese teacher volunteers in Gyeongsangbuk-do region.It aimed at the personal background of the Chinese teacher volunteers,the types of schools,the nature of Chinese courses,and Korean partners.Survey on Chinese background,school Chinese learning environment,Chinese textbooks selection,etc.The second questionnaire surveyed Chinese students in Gyeongju Middle School and Chinese students in Silla Senior High School.The students ' motivation to learn Chinese,their experience of learning Chinese,satisfaction with textbooks,and participation in classroom activities were investigated.Based on the results of data analysis,the theoretical analysis of the uneven distribution of the Chinese teacher volunteers in the Korean CPIK project in the Gyeongsangbuk-do region,the uneven motivation of the Chinese learners of the CPIK project learners,the imperfect teaching facilities of the CPIK project,and the Chinese language of the CPIK project Problems in collaborative teaching and other aspects.In response to the problems existing in the CPIK project in Gyeongsangbuk-do,South Korea,the author proposes corresponding improvement measures based on his own practical teaching experience: optimizing the training content,improving students' motivation to learn Chinese,improving the school's Chinese learningenvironment,optimizing the Chinese curriculum,and strengthening the relationship with Korean Suggestions such as collaborative teaching among Chinese teachers promote the development of Chinese teaching in North Gyeongsang Province.The development of the CPIK project in Gyeongsangbuk-do is inseparable from the joint efforts of both China and South Korea.Finally,due to the lack of theoretical knowledge,this paper points out the shortcomings of this research.
