With the improvement of China's comprehensive national strength,Chinese,which is an integral part of comprehensive national strength,is also developing towards internationalization.More and more people have become interested in Chinese and started learning Chinese.Against this background,the cause of Chinese teaching has continued to develop.Chinese characters,as one of the Chinese ontology,carry thousands of years of Chinese culture,and they are also the focus and difficulty of Chinese teaching.They have a decisive role in improving learners' Chinese proficiency and play an important role in the construction of overseas Chinese culture.This article is divided into four parts: The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the topic selection background,sorts out the research status,elaborates the research purpose and significance,the research object,the research method and the research content.The second part is the investigation and analysis of the teaching of Chinese characters at Chiang Rai Rajabhat University.It mainly collects and sorts out the corpus of Chinese characters of Chinese learners.Through questionnaires,it finds out problems in the teaching and learning of Chinese characters at Chiang Rai Rajabhat University.According to the problems of Chinese character teaching at Chiang Rai Rajabhat University,the causes of Chinese character errors in Chinese learners are analyzed from the perspectives of external and internal causes.Finally,according to the actual teaching situation,eight strategies were proposed to improve the teaching of Chinese characters in colleges and universities.The third part is the study of Chinese community's character application.The author further extends the research perspective to the community and studies the community's Chinese character application.First,investigate the use of Chinesecharacters in the local community,collect information on the overall usage of Chinese characters in the community,and take photos to save it.Then,sort the collected corpus.Subsequently,the author conducted interviews with five restaurant owners,and analyzed the errors and reasons caused by the five bosses in applying the knowledge of the learned Chinese characters to the reality from the perspective of Chinese character teaching in colleges and universities.The fourth part is the conclusion.Chinese character education in colleges and universities is inseparable from the development of overseas Chinese character application.In the promotion of Chinese character culture,Chinese character education in colleges and universities plays a pivotal role.The standardization of Chinese characters in the community can be improved by enhancing the teaching level of Chinese characters in colleges and universities and encouraging students to apply the knowledge of Chinese characters learned to the community.It shall contribute to the development of Chinese characters and culture,thereby promoting the construction and development of overseas Chinese culture.
