| With the increasingly close communication between countries and the rise of transnational tourism,rural eco-tourism is also favored by foreign tourists.The translation of tourist texts plays an important role in introducing scenic spots,attracting foreign tourists,and promoting local customs and culture,which has been highly valued by the government.This thesis is based on the translation practice report of the excerpt of Taihu Chronicles.The author summarizes the current situation and guiding principles of the translation of tourism texts.As we all know,the most important function of tourism texts is to strengthen the communication and connection between different cultures.It is found that the guiding principles of tourism English translation are very extensive,but for the translation of local chronicles,communication is the most important purpose.Therefore,the author flexibly adopts their own translation methods in this translation practice to achieve the purpose of communication.The main translation methods adopted are literal translation,free translation and so on,which provide guidance and direction in the process of translation.In addition,this thesis mainly uses comparative method,case study method and text study method in the research process.Its research object is the translation practice of tourism texts.In the research process,the author also analyzes the key and difficult points.The key and difficult points of this study mainly include the translation of Four-character case and the translation of culture-loaded words.In order to solve this problem,the author mainly uses literal translation plus annotation method to translate.Through annotation and interpretation,it shows the special meaning of its vocabulary,which provides convenience for the target language readers to better understand the meaning of the original text.Finally,the author hopes to provide some references for the later translation of local tourism texts through the translation practice summary report. |
