The sinogram-based theory is based on the characteristics of Chinese,which say that Chinese characters are ideographic characters and have individual prominent.Besides,they are based on a single word,and can form words layer by layer.According to the concept of sinogram-based teaching and the practice of word-based teaching in ancient enlightenment,primary and secondary education and teaching Chinese as a foreign language,this paper discusses the rationality and scientific nature of the application of sinogram-based theory in vocabulary teaching,and then carries out the design of sinogram-based extended table.Chinese characters in HSK three-level vocabulary are used as the database of the extended list of word groups,following high frequency,energy production and Representative principle,98 characters are selected as core characters.What's more,according to the importance in vocabulary learning,the core characters are divided into three levels,including 22 core characters at the first level,42 core characters at the second level and 34 core characters at the third level,and then introduces the teaching methods of monotypic characters and composite characters.After that,we analyze the meaning and combination of the core words in the HSK three-level vocabulary,show the picture and meaning and the extended meaning of the Chinese characters,and follow the principle of common use and strong combination generative to select the common meaning items,which can provide the direction for word group expansion.Finally,according to the selected core words and common meanings and the principles of scientificity,acceptability,universal adaptability,and variability,the size,direction and depth of word groups are determined to form word groups.At the same time,this paper gives examples of the use of character expansion table in vocabulary teaching and enumerates the specific teaching steps and sinogram-based vocabulary teaching methods of the extended table in "preclass-class-afterclass ".Father more,it takes the students of Changxing High School in Korea as the teaching object,and carries on the teaching design and the teaching record to display the teaching result,which inclouds the achievements and problems.
