Everyone needs to respect,appreciate and understand in the process of growing up.Appreciation education is a humane and vital way to love.In response to the call of quality education throughout the country,we should promote quality education,appreciate students reasonably,and take into account their ideals,morals,culture and discipline.For all students,we shouldn't treat them differently with the merits and demerits of their achievements,discover the highlights of students and strive for each student to be a useful talent in society.Nowadays more and more scholars start from the theory and practice,and study the practicality of appreciation education from different perspectives.Based on the educational theories,this study aims to find out whether appreciation education can be effectively applied in the current rural middle school English teaching.This paper explores several key issues,and tries to find the most effective way to optimize junior high school English Teaching: 1)Is rural junior middle school English teaching use appreciation education and what is the status of development? 2)How do teachers and students understand appreciation education in rural junior high school? 3)How to effectively use appreciation education in the current rural junior high school English teaching? This study consists of six chapters and a conclusion.The first chapter expounds the basis of the topic,the significance of the research,methods and ideas.The second chapter describes the definition,connotation and essential characteristics of appreciation education in detail,and sorts out the research status of appreciation education at home and abroad.The third chapter explores the theoretical basis of appreciation education from the new curriculum standard,psychological characteristics of junior high school students,humanism,Pygmalion effect and other aspects.On this basis,the questionnaire and interview analysis in Chapter 4 are more targeted.A survey of students and 8 English teachers in Tulongshan middle school was conducted.The fifth and sixth chapter,based on the experimental data,analyzes and summarizes the countermeasures and improvement methods from multiple aspects and angles.The conclusion part is a summary and reflection.Through the survey results,we can see that teachers can realize the importance of appreciation education and have used this teaching method in the teaching process.Teacher appreciation can bring a positive strengthening effect to students' physical and mental health.However,appreciation education is not omnipotent,and the specific implementation process also has certain limitations.The traditional concept of education is deeply rooted in rural schools,and teachers' understanding of appreciation education is one-sided and unclear,and has not received due attention.Secondly,most teachers' appreciation can not face all students,and schools do not have effective measures to deal with it.The innovation of the paper lies in the emphasis on the development of students' emotional attitude in the learning process through the new curriculum standard.Put yourself in the position of the current rural education reform and development needs to study the development prospects of appreciation education.This paper discusses how educators make students feel love and appreciation,stimulate students' self-confidence,healthy and happy growth.It is hoped that it can provide some enlightenment to the related research in the future.
