As many scholars continues picking interest in learning Chinese language in Spanish-speaking countries,the research proves that learners do not think writing is the most difficult aspect.However,errors will often occur while practicing.The motivation of this study comes from personal experience while learning Chinese for few years.To master this target language,students can frequently feel confuse and even despair.The author walked down this road and was encouraged to investigate the difficulties that students in the middle and advanced level of Chinese encounter in the process of writing.This study mainly explores the errors and causes of Argentinian's writing through the methods of documentation,questionnaire,statistical classification,error analysis,comparative analysis and induction.The full investigation is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly describes the background,purpose,research review,object,content,methods,and briefly describes the design of this study.The second part introduces the learner's survey results and briefly describes the learner's personal characteristics,learner's opinion on Chinese writing,opinion on teaching of Chinese writing and the induction of "Completing Sentences" test questions.In addition,the results of the teacher survey are also analyzed in this part.The third part is the error analysis of learners' short essay writing.The error analysis theory is used in calculating the high frequency errors from the collected answers and also in describing them.After the analysis,writing errors were discovered in six aspects: punctuation,Chinese characters,writing format,vocabulary,grammar and discourse.The fourth part of this study shows the causes of the occurred errors,including negative transfer of Spanish as mother tongue.This part mainly uses the contrastive analysis theory to explain the errors in Chinese writing of Argentinian's middle and advanced learners.In the last part,the author makes a comprehensive analysis of the current research and made some concrete suggestions for the teaching in writing aspect.Conclusions were also drowned based on bibliography and information gathered from the whole study.The purpose of this study is to help Argentinian's leaning Chinese improve their writing ability,so as to provide reference for future Spanish-speakers learning Chinese,and to provide reference and basis for the diversification of Chinese teaching.
