With the improvement of China's national power and the increasing international status,China has begun to shine on the world stage,making a "Chinese fever" popular all over the world,and learning Chinese has become the latest fashion.Chinese as a foreign language courses are also becoming more abundant.Among them,audiovisual courses are used by more and more Chinese teachers through the intuitiveness,interest,and artistry of film and television works,and the wide-ranging themes,teaching and learning,and rich cultural connotations.In the classroom activities of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Therefore,there are many places worth discussing and studying for the selection of film and television works as the content of audiovisual courses.This dissertation takes film and television works as the entry point,and uses inductive summary method,comparative research method,and case analysis method to elaborate and analyze the thesis in detail.Secondly,this article refers to the "Five Elements Difficulty Quantitative Analysis Method" to judge the corpus difficulty of "American dreams in China" from five perspectives: average sentence length,average unusual words,average number of new words,average language points,and average speech speed.Based on this,the conclusion is that the difficulty coefficient of the corpus of "American dreams in China" is 28.03,which is suitable for advanced learners of Chinese as a foreign language who have mastered more than 3,500 and passed the HSK5 test.Then,based on this selection,the film "American dreams in China" is used as the teaching content of audiovisual courses for detailed teaching design.And in the teaching design,the language knowledge and cultural knowledge points are introduced through the film content,and the relevant story plot of the film is used as a supplement to explain the relevant cultural knowledge,and the cultural teaching and the film and television works are organically combined to achieve a real Let film and television works serve teaching.It is hoped that the research in this article can provide some reference for users who choose and use film and television works as the content of audiovisual courses.
