The Research Of The Old-age Services In Urban Residents

Withthe further acceleration of China's population aging process,retirement will be a major issue facing the whole society.In response to the problem of population aging,the state has promulgated a series of policies.Xi'an is proposing to set up a "home-based retirement-based and community service-based,Institutional pension as a supplement," the pattern of pension services.In this study,we analyzed the status of endowment care in Area A of Xi'an City.By means of questionnaire survey,we selected A to go to 10 communities to conduct research on the aged and prospective seniors,and conducted in-depth interviews with seniors,pension institutions and community workers access.To understand the current community pension and institutional pension status and needs.This article is divided into six parts altogether.The first part mainly introduces the basic background of the topic selection,research ideas and methods.The second part summarizes relevant research literature at home and abroad,and defines the related concepts involved in this article.The third part is an analysis of the elderly and the elderly in the community.The fourth part analyzes the needs of old-age care from five aspects: health care,leisure and entertainment activities,spiritual comfort,pension location,pension services and so on.The fifth part analyzes the factors influencing the demand of old-age service.The sixth part is the conclusion and suggestion of this article.The study found that the health status of the elderly in the community is not optimistic,the majority of the elderly have a sense of loneliness,the elderly are in dire need of spiritual comfort.In terms of the needs of the pension institutions,the nearest and the suburbs are the main preferences of the elderly on the location of pension institutions,As for the wishes of the pension scheme,the development of community-based pension services will have an impact on the choices made by the agencies for providing end-of-life care,and 60% of the elders at the right age have clearly indicated that they will choose their own elders.Finally,this study argues that home-based care is still the most important form of old-age care at present,and the community-based care services provide strong support for it.Institutional care is an important complement to current status of the aged in Area A in Xi'an and is the focus of future development.
