Further improvement of the performance appraisal of civil servants is an important link in maintaining the central standards for training and selecting good cadres,which is conducive to promoting good governance and integrity,improving working efficiency,building a highly qualified civil service,and scientifically evaluating the performance of civil servants.With the deepening of the construction of harmonious society in China in recent years,the society has put forward higher demands on the transformation of government functions,Therefore,the performance appraisal of civil servants has been widely concerned by the public.It is urgent to strengthen and improve the performance appraisal system of civil servants.This paper focuses on the problems and causes of the performance appraisal system of the section-level civil servants of the quality and technical supervision Bureau of city A,Combining theoretical research with practical exploration,and based on the actual situation of the unit,through the comparative study of the different appraisal methods,the author tries to find a way to improve the appraisal system of the section-level civil servants of the quality and technical supervision Bureau of city A.The introduction mainly introduces the background,purpose and significance of this research,summarizes the relevant research literature and the basic ideas and methods.The main body of the first part of the civil service performance appraisal theory and the content of the assessment;Secondly,the paper introduces the present situation of the performance appraisal of the civil servants in the section of the quality and technical supervision Bureau of A city,and analyzes the existing problems and the reasons for them.Finally,from the practice exploration,how to improve a city quality and technical supervision bureau grade civil servant performance appraisal system,from the transformation of the assessment concept,improvement of assessment methods,improvement of the evaluation index system,the application of the results of the four aspects of explanation.
